Is the festival family-friendly?

Yes. The Shediac Renaissance Faire is a family-friendly event. Children of all ages are welcome when accompanied by an adult. A few workshops and activities are for adults only and are marked 19+ in the program.

Children’s tickets

Children aged 5 to 12: $45 + HST (day ticket) or $79 + HST (weekend ticket). Children under 5 get in free.

Strollers and wagons

Strollers and wagons are welcome on the grounds. Please be aware that the terrain is grass and can be uneven in places.

Pets and service animals

Service animals are welcome with proper documentation. Emotional support animals and pets are not permitted on the festival grounds.

What is there for kids to do?

Activities vary from year to year. Past and planned activities include archery, crafts, storytelling, and costume parades. A tentative schedule will be posted on our website and social media in the weeks leading up to the festival.

Are there 19+ events?

A few activities and performances are designated 19+. These are clearly marked in the program. The rest of the festival is open to all ages.

Friday at Parlee Beach

Friday evening’s Gathering of the Realms at Parlee Beach is included with every ticket and is family-friendly.
