The year is 1606, give or take a few centuries.

For 2027, we’ve rebuilt the machinery behind the magic! We’re offering tickets on Thursday the twenty-ninth of October, and the first thousand go at super early bird prices.

What’s new for 2027

Tickets that just work. A new, more robust ticketing system puts your tickets in your inbox and on your phone, ready to scan.
Your bracelet before the gates open. For express entry, pick it up at Friday evening’s Gathering of the Realms, over breakfast at the WitZuit canteen at Parlee Beach from 7:30 am to 11 am, or at the gate from 9 am, and walk straight in.
Food and drink tickets in advance. Buy them online with your admission, or at any of our bracelet pickups, and go straight to the counter. Or wait ’til you’re inside the gate and we’ll make sure things are processed quickly.
More food, served faster. More food vendors, and a rebuilt service system to keep the turkey legs moving.
More hands on deck. A much larger crew on site, all weekend.

At 10 in the morning on Thursday the twenty-ninth of October, Atlantic time. The first 1,000 tickets sell at super early bird prices.

Why should you buy sooner than later?

Super early bird prices end after the first 1,000 tickets.
2026 sold out both days weeks ahead. No tickets were sold at the gate.
Only 300 VIP tickets exist.
A Faire ticket makes a fine gift for anyone who owns a cloak, or ought to!

2026, as it happened

More costumes, more crowd, and more merchants than we’d even dared to imagine. A whole assemblage of merchants turned the Neptune Drive-In grounds into a village of curiosities. Knights fought, fire danced, and the big screen lit up after dark. Thank you for coming, and for dressing the part.

Getting in

1: Parking: Find your designated parking area (scroll below for parking maps!).

2: Go to the gate.

3: Present your ID and QR code: Our team will scan your QR code and verify your admission. Guests wishing to enjoy alcoholic beverages, including mead, must present valid government-issued ID to receive a 19+ bracelet.

4: Receive your bracelet. Bracelets are required to remain on for re-entry.

WEEKEND & VIP tickets

Weekend ticket and VIP ticket holders must keep their bracelets on for the entire duration of the Faire. Your bracelet will be required for re-entry. Skip the line by picking up your bracelet at Friday evening’s Gathering of the Realms at Parlee Beach, over breakfast at the WitZuit canteen at Parlee Beach from 7:30 am to 11 am, or at the Faire’s gate from 9 am. You can buy food and drink tickets at each of them. On Saturday there will be an expedited line for those who already have a bracelet.

Parlee Beach Provincial Park

SPECTACLE & COMBAT

Strongman trials. LARPing. Sword demonstrations. Buhurt. Horse trials. Escrime. The kind of programming where you lean forward in your seat, and then abandon the seat entirely.

PLAY

This is not an event where you watch from behind a rope. Free-to-play games are scattered across the grounds: archery, tons of workshops for little kids and big kids alike, and quests across the Faire.

AFTER DARK

When the sun sets, the Faire does not end. It transforms. A fire show by Geomatrix. A beach party. Your Faire bracelet gets you in the gate!

THE MARKETPLACE

Artisans, craftspeople, and merchants from across the region, their stalls forming a village of curiosities, handmade goods, and things you did not know you needed until you saw them. Paintings, leather goods, medieval jewellery, handmade hats, build-your-own-spell jars, ceramics, chain mail art, candles, wood crafts, etc.!

FEASTING & REVELRY

The grounds will be rich with food and drink. You will not go hungry! House-made pickles, turkey legges, stewes in ye bread bowls, hand pies, rolles of lobster, Fryes, poutines, concession treats – the list goes on. Make sure you have a few extra notches in your belt.

A separate VIP Banquet and VIP Feast will take place each night for VIP ticket holders, with live entertainment and food worthy of a medieval hall.

The Shediac Renaissance Faire is produced by Shediac Wonderland, the family of story-driven businesses created by Sébastien Després and Heather Wright. Le Moque-Tortue (our board game bistro), Morse et Marteaux BBQ Smokehouses & Lobster Shacks (with four locations throughout Shediac), Le Griffon (bed & breakfast), The Neptune (our Drive-In Theatre), Adorable Chocolat (our artisanal chocolaterie), Bazar Neptune (Friday sunset market), and Witzend Tours & Adventures (tours, escape rooms, and concierge): each one a chapter of a larger story about what happens when a community decides to take play seriously.

The Shediac Renaissance Faire is the chapter where the whole town becomes the stage, the centuries blur, and nobody is entirely sure whether the spectacle is in the arena or in the crowd.
